Small Scale Broiler Production

Family poultry is de ned as small-scale poultry keeping by households using family labor and, wherever possible, locally available feed resources. The poultry may range freely in the household compound and  nd much of their own food, getting supplementary amounts from the householder. Sound management practices are very essential to optimize production. Scienti c poultry management aims at maximizing returns with minimum investment.
