Java is a general-purpose computer programming language that is concurrent, class-based, object-oriented, and speci cally designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. Java applications are typically compiled to bytecode that can run on any Java virtual machine regardless of computer architecture. Web design encompasses many di erent skills and disciplines in the production and maintenance of websites. The di erent areas of web design include web graphic design; interface design; authoring, including standardized code and proprietary software; user experience design; and search engine optimization. The term web design is normally used to describe the design process relating to the front-end design of a website including writing mark up. Web design partially overlaps web engineering in the broader scope of web development.
