Play-Based Learning Approaches

Charlotte Green is an experiential-learning advocate specializing in play-based learning approaches for preschoolers. She earned her Ph.D. in Early Education, researching the scaffolding of play themes to nurture problem solving and collaboration. Charlotte has co-designed outdoor classrooms that integrate loose parts, sensory gardens, and construction zones. She publishes frameworks for play documentation and reflective practice journals. Charlotte leads training on facilitating child-led investigations and tiered scaffolding. Her current work examines the role of teacher-child co-construction in sustained shared thinking.
