Engineering and Technology
Ronin-Westwood is a materials-science lecturer with a Ph.D. in Metallurgy, specializing in structure-property relationships and phase-diagram interpretation. He has authored course materials on crystallography, mechanical-testing techniques, and corrosion-resistance strategies. Ronin teaches lab sessions on hardness testing, tensile testing, and microstructure characterization using optical microscopy. He leads workshops on additive-manufacturing feedstock qualification and property-tailoring through heat treatments. His current research explores high-entropy alloys for extreme-environment applications.
