Physical education is a means to encourage the development of motor skills, physical abilities, knowledge, reasoning, appreciation of the value, and habituation healthy lifestyle that leads to stimulate growth and balanced development.
Physical education trends have developed recently to incorporate a greater variety of activities besides typical sports. It develops the skills, knowledge, values and attitudes needed for establishing and enjoying an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as building student con dence and competence in facing challenges as individuals and in groups or teams, through a
wide range of learning activities. Fitness is a general state of health and well-being and, more speci cally, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Sports are all forms of usually competitive physical activity or games which, through casual or organized participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases, entertainment for spectators.
